I have been using Precision for 2 years now. Their service is very customer friendly, any issues I have had with my car where resolved quickly and permanently, and their prices are more then fair. They are reliable and honest. I would highly recommend them. Pros: knowledgeable staff, friendly customer service Cons: the location is by a busy road, so it is easy to drive past the entrance.

I live quite a distance from Precision Transmissions; however, distance is not a substitute for quality. Also, I have discovered that being a female and having a car often meets with the practice to mislead for financial gain. Not in this case, NOT PRECISION TRANSMISSIONS!!! Their professional conduct and expertise was just what I needed and much much more.

Precision Transmissions rocks. They do fantastic work, are really nice, and take the time to explain to you exactly what’s wrong with your car and how they plan to address it. They’re flexible, affordable, and most importantly, honest. It’s a pleasure to bring my car there. I’d highly recommend them – they’re the best shop I’ve been to in the 10 years I’ve had a car in NYC.
they do fantastic work did my 91 crx car looks like a 2010 honda. treated my car like it was there own. superb bodywork. bodykit matched up with all lines to look like factory . theres nothing i can say to explain the hard work and trust that they have with ur vehicle. will recommend everyone there for body work and trans. work. the best.
i will never go anywhere else, and i intend to tell everyone i know to bring their cars to precision as well. the guys all treated me and my car with such warmth and respect, and they went out of their way to insure the experience was a positive one. really above and beyond. nice people make life so much better! i’m sold.
I have a 2004 Toyota Prius which I had to bring to a Toyota dealership because of a Floor Mat Recall.
As per Toyota’s instuctions I brought the car to a Brooklyn dealership for the Floor Mat Recall which they corrected but was also told that I needed major repair work to replace the Water Pump plus “other problems” they claimed I had. I decided rather then trust them I took my car to Precision Transmission where they inspected it and found nothing wrong that need repairs. Precision save me a chunck of money and made me realize to not trust dealerships for service. Also, I’ve been using Precision since I bought the car, for the past 5 years and have always been more than satisfied with their service all around.

I had a feneder bender that destroy the side of my new BMW. They took care of my vehicle talk to the insurrance and fix my car as good as new. Not even the BMW dealer believes the quality of work done to my car.

About 4 years ago, I took my car to a Midas shop to get brakes put on my car when the check engine light came on, and the owner of the Midas shop told me he takes his car to Percision Transmission for all his car concerns; so I took his advise and went to Percision, that was the best advise I have EVER taken. I Have Never BeenSo Satified WithThe Service, Professionalism, and Care that I have received from the Entire staff at Percision. I would reccomend Percision Transmission to anyone who want honest quality care for their car.
Best mechanic EVERRRRRR – honest, reliable, dependable and YES affordable. Not everything cheap is good and not everything good is cheap – this I learnt the hard way, cutting corners 🙁 Eric was awesome, he fixed my issues n even bought me coffee 🙂 his shop is pet friendly n waiting area is nice, even has an area with games to keep the customers occupied – and where would we be without WI-FI 🙂 fast forward to an oil change, state inspection and brake change later – n this gal is one absolutely HAPPY driver! No complaints here. As Arnold said “I’ll be back!”
I went to Precision to renew my NYS sticker, I chose them only because they are close to my address. Being a woman, I automatically distrust mechanic shops, they usually give an expensive list of things that my car needs. But here I had the best surprise ever, Eric introduced himself, shook my hand and, after checking everything needed for the yearly inspection, assured me that my car was in very good shape, no need for those thousands of dollars worth of repairs I was told in Firestone.
The place looks clean, friendly and professional staff including the secretary.
I highly recommend them, you won’t be disappointed!!!!

Precision transmission is the number one auto shop in Brooklyn ny I was in a accident on the 2 of January and my car was mess up bad but thank precision and there wonderful team I get back my car looking bran new and running like a new car I always recommend them thank u to the wonderful team staff at precision respect

Came to Precision with a transmission problem on a Honda Element I had taken poor care of. The owner of precision treated me with respect even though I am sure he thought I was gross. I had not even washed the car 2 times since 2003 when I bought it. They had a wrong part sent to them from the parts distributor, which meant I had to make a second trip out there to pick it up, but he was so straight-up I still felt he treated me with respect even as a consummate clueless customer. Took me out for a test drive to make sure I was happy with the work. Very sincere and professional guy, and he charged me very little and fixed the problem (I was leaking transmission fluid, which is not good).
Hi Lee, Thank you for giving us the chance to service your vehicle. I’m glad you were satisfied with us. At no point in time was I grossed out by your car. We all lead very busy lives, & washing a car isn’t always on the priority list. Someone did gross me out once. Upon bringing in a vehicle for service they were kind enough to informed me “If you hear any noise while you are road testing my car don’t be alarmed, it’s only a rat”. Now that’s GROSS! As you can imagine, I declined to work on that vehicle.

I’ve been a car owner for over 20 years. And it is very difficult to find a mechanic or shop you can completely trust to have your very best interests in mind when it comes to the care of you vehicle. Eric at Precision Transmission is the guy you need for all your car repair and maintainance needs. He is highly knowledgeable, friendly and personable. Eric takes the time to explain to you your issues and will provide you all your options.
I highly recommend Precision Transmission. The only downside is that they are closed on weekends.
My car was sideswiped, the entire passenger side from rear to front. Then the insurance company representing the driver who causes the accident tried to short change me on the vehicle repair costs.
Eric made sure that all needed repairs were covered in full by the insurance company and that my vehicle was returned to me showroom condition.
Eric and his staff are true professionals and I highly recommend Precision Transmission to all who want their vehicle serviced by honorable ethical highly skilled professionals!!!
My car had a leak in the transmission, which is a huge job (and pain) to fix! Eric is the owner of the stop and he assured me that my car was in great hands. He gave me frequently calls with updates about the car as well as gave me recommendations for the parts I should purchase. The service here is fantastic.
